All tli«/_oiincillots were present, except Councillor Carnell. A note from W. S. Radford, complaining of breastwork of public wharf, crossing his property, depriving bim of right of way. Ordered to remain on table. W. H. Marriott sent u communication on water waste, stating he had placed ball-cocks, lo prevent any wnste. but the consequence was. the cisterns liad frozen, and if this would happen .at tho last of March tliey would freeze for the whole winter K-nson. He requests Council to remove ball-cocks. Inspector and Mr. Martin J will attend to tlio niatlcr. It was moved by Councillor St. John, seconded by Councillor Monroe, and carried, that the residents of Darling Street lie notified to make connection with the sewerage pipes laid by the Council. Councillor Monroe called attention to the bad condition of sidewalks on north Ride of Water Street.
