He has now fourteen millions of cod ova aud fry in the apparatus, and about a million lobster ovannder treatment. He has 700 spawning codfish in tbe tanks and ho is constantly adding to tbeir number. The lobster Incubators, to the number of 430, have been despatched in charge of trained hands, to different bays. These will be operated in the neighborhood of tbo lobster factories. The lobster eggs which otherwise would be destroyed arc collected and hatched in the Incubators, aud then set free iu the waters. Hundreds of millions of lobster eggs which would have been consigned to the boiler will thns bo brought to life; and In this way, much will be done to maintain tbe stock and to restore depleted waters. ^ Memorial to tlie Late Fatter Morns. Yesterday morning au enthusiastic meeting of collectors was held, for tlio raising of funds for the memorial in bonor of tlie late esteemed Kiinrdian of Villa Nova. Tho meeting was presided over by Thomas Mitchell, Esq., and tliere was a representative gathering of gentlemen from all parts of the city, who evinced a zealous desire to commence operations. It was decided that the collectors named for tbo different wards of the town commence work on Tuesday; they will therefore call on the citizens for their suli- seriptions. It is expected that in a short time, or within the anniversary of the deceased priest's death, all arrangements will be completed and the necessary funds In hand for the accomplish ment of tho desired object.
